As a committee, proposed by Tim Hughes, we invited Cathy Nataf, professor at Claude Bernard Lyon 1 to talk to us about the history and developments concerning the exploration of planet Mars. Cathy’s talk was absolutely fascinating, putting into context the different projects to land on Mars (the Russians, for information, made 6 unsuccessful attempts), the various challenges and the persepctives for future attempts.
You can learn more about her work here (French only).
This was one of those talks where both the speaker and the subject proved to be a winning combination, proof, if needed that FIBA can provide a very rich and varied tapestry to business networking!
Our sincere thanks go to Cathy for such a great presentation.
